Thanks for looking. Many of the frags will be attending the frag swap next month. :D :D

That looks great. Very organized. Even the corals are tidy. :)

Thanks for the comments! :D

Marc-
Yes that would be my anal-retentiveness!
But that means I have my hand in the tank more often than I would like.

Steve-
I have had to arrange the frags many times to figure out how to add just one more!
I am sure I could sqeeze a few more in there though. :p

Looks good Chris. I was wondering when you were going to post pictures of that frag tank.

BTW, what is the large purple thing in the left side?

Chris

Chris-

I am not exactly sure what the SPS is on the left, but I will try to post some pisc of it within the hour so someone can ID it for me. I purchased it from SP back when they had their big sale. I believe it is in the scroll family? I do have 3 frags of it and they are growing well. It is purple with green highlights in person. Look for the updates!

Thanks

:) That frag station on the left looks familiar.

I took down my 20L a while back and still have the frag station if your interested. Plus it still has the custom adaptor for the MJ powerhead for flow.

Ok, i have seen them a lot on sps frags, but what are they set on, it looks like little test tubes. Do you epoxy them to the plug? Can you give a little more detail on that please?

Bill-

I was originally going to do the MJ 12 attachment like your design, but due to spacing I was not able to do so. Thank you for the offer. How has the stress been since going to only 1 tank?

Eric-

I use plain old floral tubes/plugs I get from the local florist. She sells them to me for 10 cents a piece. I usually use a dab of marine epoxy to attach the frags to the top piece. I have also used super glue gel and it works fine. Once the frag has encrusted over the top I just take the top rubber piece off of the plastic tube and epoxy it to the rock. They seem to work for me.

Thanks

hehe, no stess now that the 20 is gone.... I really enjoy my larger maintenance free tank.

Peter,

It's just a normal PVC to tubing adaptor, but I put a small tubing over the powerhead to make it fit the opening. That probably doesn't make sense so I will try to post a pic later.

Yes, closeup would be appreciated. I can probably put together the PVC/eggcrate thing. I'm going to keep some frags in the back of my main tank. The thought of having to maintain yet another tank (i.e. propagation tank) is not exactly appealing. so if the frags are kept out of sight, I may be okay with it.
