Found a zoo eating nudi in my tank.

[I found a zoo eating nudi in my tank today on a frag of green zoos I got from Marc at the prop. workshop. I am not saying it came on Marc's zoo just that is where I saw it today. So my question is, if I have found one are there many more there in my tank? This was found in my nano cube 12 gal. I hope this is the only one. It was a rather neat looking nudi. Black with red spikes resembling one in shape to a pic of one that saw recently on the board that someone else found in their tank. How do these nudis eat the zoos? Do they get inside of them and eat there way out? Are they asexual able to produce from one nudi? The zoos look alright a few polyps are a little retracted in but I think that is just from me messing with them.]

[I found one in my tank the other day too.... I haven't added corals in month's that would of had nudi's. So, I'm puzzled as well. I just siphoned him out and gave him the old flush...

:lookaround:]

[About the only thing you can do is keep looking. Any zos you can easily get to you might want to do a 5 min FW dip with 4x strength FWE as this will kill them for sure.

Otherwise just keep an eye out. Was it for sure eating the zos or just you saw it on the zos?]

[Yup, I did a good diagnosis of them. I'm just keeping a good eye out for them though. The polyps will close up when the nudi is on them and it's not like the chomp a whole polyp at once. So it's kind of easy to see them. :glare:]
