Overflow box rated at 600gph to sump mag 5 return that ill likely split and put that flow behind the rocks.

I want to try the hydors since they are in my budget

Like ive said in other post's itll be mainly softy and lps with my first venture into keeping sps.

What do you guys think.

Ive got a bunch of old maxijets i can use if i have to up flow but i dont want to much right out of the box since its mainly gunna be softy's and lps like im used too.
 
I can't speak about version 2 of the (Hydor) Koralias but IMO version 1 sucks. It has a very definite flat vee shaped flow pattern and is a pain to get pointed "just right". I have already changed out 1 with a Seio 620 and am considering switching the other out as well.
The version 2 is supposed to have taken care of that issue.
