So I bought a frag some time ago and it had some flat worms I didn't notice. Over time they became a big mass of them. I tried to siphon them out but letting the water go back into the sump. WRONG thing to do!!! Some of the frickin things died during the siphoning and released toxins. Well...I made the mistake not to change the water thinking that they hadn't release toxins...wrong! The next day my purple tang died! The day after that my copper band died. I changed the water by then but I guess the fish where all stressed that my yellow tang died after that. So now I have a percula clown and a blue chromis! I lost most of my fish and still didn't get rid of them darn worms!
I was really depressed and wanting to get out of the hobby...but then I see pictures of what my tank looked like before and gets me motivated! So I want to use that ridx chemical or whatever its called for flat worms. I don't want to do that much to my tank right now since I will be moving to a house I bought on sept 1! So I will try to hold off on doing any type of medicating until I move.
Anyway......just had to share my stupidness!
