Fish chunk missing slowly growing

I have a flame angel that I got about 2-3 weeks ago. About one week ago I noticed a slight verticle white cut on the fish, each day it has gotten bigger, and now it's a triangle shape. It's almost looks like the skin is peeling off slowly. Everyday it's always a clean cut, no puffy fugus, no anchor attachment. Just a widening cut. Any ideas on what it is or what to do?

Do you have a tang in this tank that is may be fighting with? Since you see the same cut several days in a row, it may be getting injured where it sleeps... can't tell from the picture enough to help more.
