Finger Leather coral

I have a fairly large Devils Hand finger leather and It has stopped putting out its "fuzzy things" on its fingers. OK you can stop laughing now! Im sure somebody out there has had this problem before. My other leather coral is fine. Water perameters are excellent. It is not drawing up just not "fuzzin". Is it sick?

I have a 2 finger leathers and one extends "fuzzy" polyps and the other one stopped a week after I put it in my tank. I'm not sure why this happens, but I have noticed it really doesn't effect the growth as far as I can tell. Post some pics... :D

They'll probably come back out at some point. You just added it a week or two ago, so it's probably not adjusted yet.

I have a fairly large one as well and these corals seem to go through a molting stage I have found. Twice mine has closed up for about a week and than molts a clear layer and than opens up almost immediately.

Has anyone else had this experience?

Every Week! I have 8 different Leathers and they are constantly growing. :D

Kind of sucks though because they are not nice to look at during the molting process.

Ya, I noticed after seeing the latest pic of your tank. You should probably send some of those to a holding tank (mine  ) Let me know when you get some splits or decide to trim because I am keeping mine primarily as softie and LPS.
