Feeding schedule - 24on/48off schedule

[Ok. I work 24on/48off. When i am at work I have had my neighbor step in to feed my fish. I got a trigger, 2 clowns (dont eat flake food), royal gramma, sandsifter goby. When I am at work, what would work to feed them? I have the 2 a day flake food feeder on the tank. Works well except for the clown fish. When I am home, I feed frozen brine shrimp since everyone eats that. Any ideas? :cool grin:]

[Try a different type of flake food. I've watched my fish ignore specific flakes looking for the one type they like. It is very strange. Cyclop-Eeze is coming out with flake food now. We got a sample at the meeting once.

Brine Shrimp Direct (.com) sent me a sample of brine shrimp flake food once. I bet they sell that, and it might be just what you need.]

[IMO fish in captivity don't NEED to eat every day, I'm sure theres some people who will think otherwise, and there are some species which do need to eat more often...but think about it. A fish in an aquarium has what? 48, maybe 72 inches to swim? I would think a captive fish to have a much slower metabolism, less currents, less space, less swimming.

I have never had a problem feeding every other day, but do try to feed daily, doesn't always happen I don't find it a big deal.]
