Just as a point of input or advice on the Vertex IN80 PS. If you are looking at one to buy for your aquarium, you had better think about a few things real good. I bought one for my 75 gallon reef and found that it is a very non-user friendly skimmer. First and foremost, the skimmer is very large and the water level outside of the skimmer needs to be at 8 to 9 inches or it will be an issue. Secondly, the outlet spout must be submerged under water or the skimmer will spew so much excess saltwater and not skimmate. It's a great price for the skimmer, but it is a real hassle to tune it in even after some weeks of it operating. I actually took it back to the store that I bought it from and re-installed my Aqua Remora, which works great for me.
