Building a new tank
Evolve 8 about 6.5 total water volume
Going to mod the filter area for better flow and add a ac50 or 70 for a refugium on the back.
Really need to decide on a light
Looking at these:
Wave point microsun
Fluval sea
Reef radiance nano 60
Or diy led under$100
Any help would be great or if someone is selling a used one or can send me in the right direction.

Also need to up grade the pump for more flow.
Current pump is only a 90
Looking at this pump:
Rio 800 or similar. Something quite. Anyone have a used one or suggestions?

Will need a good place to get live rock. The place I usually go only has really big pieces. Guess I break it up though.

Overall suggestions welcome..especially if you have this tank. Thanks
 
I retrofitted a couple of 10w hybrid LEDs into my stock 5g hood. It ow working pretty well. I can't tune the color, but it is a good 20K color. LEDs were about $5 including shipping (eBay), the individual heat sinks with integrated fans were $5 each including shipping, then I bought a DIY PWM kit on eBay for $13. Another $20 for various connectors, project box, and a piece of plexi for the splash guard.
