Everyone's thoughts... Dallas World Aquarium

Is there any way we can have some sort of meeting or something here??? :D Idk just an idea...

AQUARIUM
The Reef Room, located on the first floor of the Aquarium exhibit, can accommodate a seated serve dinner for 100 or a cocktail reception for 200 amidst the saltwater exhibits from around the world. This area is available after 6:00 pm. On the second level of the Aquarium exhibit, the Port Hole offers beautiful nighttime views of downtown Dallas. With approximately 4,500 square feet of banquet and entertainment space, the Port Hole can accommodate up to 400 for a formal setting or 500 for an informal function. This area is available for early morning breakfasts, daytime in-service programs, luncheons or evening dinners.

Well i'm def. looking forward to whenever that will be. My girlfriend and I are going tomorrow for the first time. I can't wait!!!

I wen't to a buddy of mines for his wedding there. Was an absolutely amazing wedding! (Cuz I was entertaining my self with the aquariums... :D)

We missed the last meeting that was held there and would love to attend another one with a behind the scenes tour.

Unfortunately, there isn't much 'behind the scenes' there. If I remember correctly from the discussion about this last time, each display is almost self-contained with very little room behind them.

They will not allow a behind the scenes tour, as Scott said there is no room. Last year Paula Branshaw (Director of Husbandry) wanted Mitch Carl to come visit. So with his help we were able to get a meeting there setup. We paid for his airfare and gave the DWA around $200 to help with the cost of the food they provided that night. So it worked out well for us. Any other time they have not even returned emails sent to them about setting up meetings there, or they have come back with a price per person of pretty much what it would cost to go there paying general admission.

I would be willing to pay admission price for a meeting there. I just sold a couple frags to one of their employees (DWA Jeff). Maybe he can help us out with the best people to talk to for the best prices.
Mary
