Ever heard of Kamikaze Flatworms?

For some reason, I went from seeing hundreds of tiny flatworms to absolutely none. I believe it was a failed attempt by a terrorist group of worms to kill everything in my aquarium. Suicide Flatworms!

I have noticed that most everything in my aquarium isn't opening up as much the last couple of weeks. My light was getting dimmer by the day so I replaced the bulb. That is the only change I made and now, no more flatworms.

Anyone else ever seen this before?
 
No, but I have heard that they can collapse and die all of a sudden, at once. You might run some carbon just in case. Congrats. :D
 
They were the redish-brown ones. Kinda liike like leaves or something.

I always have carbon running on that tank cause I use two small HOB filters on there, so it wasn't as detrimental as it could have been.
