Erectus seahorse babies this morning - With pics

[Phew, busy morning. first of all, my hubby left the RO running last night.. flooded the kitchen *_*
and then when we turned the lights on, we noticed that our erectus male had babies. we've noticed his belly couple days ago so I've been hatching new baby brine daily. here are the pics, we were only able to rescue about 50? most of them were in the sump...

I don't know how many we can keep alive, if we can keep any alive at all, but as I type, i'm enriching baby brine to feed them... wish me luck!
if anybody wants to come by and take a look, you will need to bring $5 entrance fee  j/k!]

[2/20

Today is Day3, most of the new babies died, I have about 6 left. Probably because I wasn't home last night to feed :(
Good news is.. the daddy is pregnant again!? or may be just bloated? We'll see in a few days.
More pics of older babies (1 month I think):

This is 1 out of 3 that survived. This one is actually yellow because he/she stays around a yellowish plastic ring I put in the tank for them to hold on to.

The other 2 are black, 1 of them has white stripes

You can see the color difference. It's pretty cool

[Congratulations!!!! Isn't it a great feeling to be new grandparente!!!
I do hope the rest of them make, I know your must be very happy. :)]

[Great pictures. I had a kuda baby that I raised to six months before it died. It was a lot of work. Good luck.]

[Too cool! I'm also raising Erectus fry...I have about 60 (out of 63) at 9 days old. With your first batch, were there any big die offs at any point ? I keep preparing myself for the worst before I get too attached. I've just added enriched day old bbs to these guys diet.

I'll have to try a yellow hitch and see if they change colors at all, mine are all black. ???

Maybe if we're both successful, in a few months we can do some seahorse swapping to expand our genetic pool.

[the first batch, our friend had them, but he told us most of them died on the 3rd day. the next die off is at 3 months. yea if we're successful. so far it's not so good, our system is not completely stable so they're not doing so good though.]
