Encrusting monti questions

I just picked a few different pieces up. I was wondering about placement in my tank.
6xt5 30x18x18 with led strip.
I have them in the sand bed right now. Should I attach to rubble and then to the live rock? Also where in tank height wise?
Pokerstar, rainbow, purple haze, superman, flower petal, Jedi mind trick.
All info is welcomed.

I usually put mine in a crevice between two rocks, kinda bonds them together and gives me a place to break it if I need a frag. Most encrusting monti will adapt to as much light as you can give them.
