Easy Blade - Any experience with it?

I bought this product to rid my algae off my glass that is stubborn.

After glueing it to my MagFloat, it does not scrape off anything, I was really cheesed off as I had read great reviews on the product.
There is only one way to glue it, so there isn't much room for error.

Did anyone have a similar experience or can advise of anything different I may try?

Thanks

Not trying to be a smarty pants, but did you take the uber thin razor out of the package and put it inbetween the adjustable plastic pieces. The razor is in there but pushed back so you dont get cut. If you have no razor, you have just the EZ without the blade. Together they work magic!

I've used one for over a year now. Maybe try adjusting the plastic screw to pull the blade out, then lock the blade.

dp... , yes I was aware that the blade was turned around for safety reasons as mentioned in the insert.

I turned it around, glued the easy blade to the inside part of the magfloat, adjusted the thing and it wont scrape diddly nothing, seems as if the blade is not even touching, although the blade has been adjusted with the plastic screw to go all the way down.

I am going to pull it off the MagFloat, scrape the Super Glue off and retry glueing it.

good deal. the only reason i asked is becaus the LFS that i bought mine told me there was not blade and i had to buy a 5 pack of extras....well come to find out, there was a blade in there.

put the inside magfloat on a flat surface like a counter top and see if the blade is touching. if it is, it should scrape just fine. mine goes through alge like butter.

I've used one for a year or so. No problems. I can stop by and just see if anything is obvious after work one day. I know it took getting used to adjusting the blade.

I reglued it and it works much better.

I think due to some of the glue that was stubborn and did not want to come off, I have is scraping mostly from the right side.

One side is better than none for now, until the weekend.

Thanks all for you wonderful input and Frank for you generosity.
