So what all do you dose your tank with?

I am picking up a Ca reactor today, and the only thing left of my list is some type of Neptune Controller undecided on the JR or III. The plan is to have as much automated as possible. I already have a top off. Of course I will do my routine checking of perm. but I was curious of what I should be dosing.

With the Ca reactor my alk and Ca should be steady, the only other element I am aware I will need to dose is Mg. Besides feeding is there any other trace elements you test and dose for?

I may be wrong, but I don't think you will need to dose Mg since you have a Ca reactor. I could be completely wrong, and I hope those that are more, "in-the-know", will chime in. You may want to look at the aquacontroller 2 instead of the JR or 3. I know marc uses it with success and it is cheaper. I think Dr. F&S has it on sale right now. Maybe he can give you a link to it on his webpage.

from what i've read, your mg will deplete over a period of time and you will need to dose to help prevent premature calcium precipitation.

I would just do water changes and not dose anything...
