Dosing Tech M and starfish

Since raising me magnesium to help combat a bryopsis issue, my red Fromia starfish does not seem happy at all, while my Linkia is perfectly fine. It's not coming apart or anything, but it is often laying in a twisted heap looking deflated part of the day. Anyone else witnessed this??

Just wondering if you have checked the salinity? Dosing magnesium salts can raise it. That would be the only thing I can think of. Maybe it is a species from an area with low salinity.

Salinity still at 1.025, I use zeomag in my reactor so I only had to raise mg up ~300ppm. The Frombia has been in the tank ~6 months and was fine at 1.025-1.026. It's strange, as soon as I boosted past 1600(100ppm daily) it started freaking out. :? I'm no longer dosing but I'm pretty sure the zeomag is holding the mg level up, cause it ain't changed in over a week. :lol:
