Have you ever experienced pH go down after dosing Sodium Bicarbonate?

Yesterday I noticed that the pH was going down after dosing and stop the remaining solution from entering the tank. This is weird as I usually see the pH go up, not down. Any ideas why this happened?

Dosing w baking soda usually causes a small ph drop. Washing soda causes a ph spike.
