doser question

My doser sometimes doesn't work for one solution. I wouldn't know it if I didn't look at it and notice or if the ph goes real low. I'm wondering, do the lines get blocked very much? I've had mine running for about a month. Also when we had a power outage the other day the doser didn't come back on although it was plugged into the AC3. The AC3 shows it on but it was not in reality running. This was in the middle of the night so I wouldn't catch it until the next day. So my question is about blocked lines and also the power question.

If you have the ends of the lines too close to the water, they can clog up. Mine sits about 2" above the water and it stays clear.

About the power, though, I don't have a solution. Mine does the same thing. When main power is interrupted (not the controller outlet), the doser turns off. Might want to plug the main power line into a UPS if you have one.

I'm using the home made two-part solution. I'll raise the line a little bit. One of them is real close to the water.

About the power, if you were out of town and that happened, your tank conditions could change in about a day with no chemicals added. I don't know what the answer to that is either, because if no one's home to look at it for me and the power goes out, the doser would show itself working on the AC3 but no chemicals would be added and you wouldn't even realize it till you saw a big drop in the ph.
