Does your cardinal fish eat flake food?

I bought some bangai cardinal fish a while ago. I knew they like meaty food but I didn't knew they don't eat any flake food. I only feed meaty food to my tank 2-3 times a week so I am worried about them.
If people have cardinals, please let me know if yours eat flake food or not. I want to know if eventually they will eat flake or I should sell these. Thanks.
 
i have tank raised and they eat it just fine, love it in fact. tank raised are the only type of bangaiis i would ever recommend.
 
I've had 3 PJ Cardinals for several years now. They eat flake, meat, even pieces of algae the Tangs tear loose from the clip.
