Do You Think This Lighting is Safe

[[Okay, finally got my lights mounted the way I want them, at least for now.  ][The GalaxyHydro Black Box is 165 watts; with the two Kessil Tuna Blue A160s I have a total of 485 watts of LED.][  ][I have a HQI 150 MH I was thinking of attaching as well, but probably will not.][  ][I don’t want the heat, and seem to get plenty of shimmer from the Kessils, along with surface agitation from the Fluval FX4 return I feel satisfied with the ripple effect, and happy with water movement without using any powerheads.][  ]] [[The thing I’m concerned about is if the Kessil Arm mount is sturdy enough to hold the Black Box.  ][It weighs 10 pounds and is quite a ways up.][  ][If it falls onto the glass it would probably end up in the tank.][  ][I’ll probably eventually replace it with a Kessil 360, but for now it’s what I have.][  ][I epoxied the 90 degree mount fitting onto the big light with JB Wield Epoxy and it appears to be strong, but I’m not sure I trust it.][  ][The video is a little blurry; I had a smudge on the underwater housing on the GoPro.][  ][I’ll clean it and get some good underwater shots later. ]] [[The wrasse is looking good and eating off the clip, so I don’t have to put food into the water column anymore.  ][Running a small tank without a skimmer or sump I prefer this method of ][ ][feeding .][  ][My Trates are almost always zero.]] [[ ][Now I’m at work hoping the light is not in the tank when I come home tomorrow.][  ][And I thought this hobby was supposed to relieve stress.]] [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=03K7YeE_QhA&list=PLnjgi9vsLkuLURXFo9uaMXq0CS8t1mto4]

Well, here's the thing.  The JB weld may be perfectly safe but it's on metal that heats up for hours every day.  I know it is used for fixing engine parts, so in theory yes it should hold.  But if it was me and I was unsure I'd suspend it over something else and let it cycle on and off as if it was over the tank for 30 days. Inspect the connection frequently, especially after your testing period.  IF it looks like day one, it's probably safe.I don't like the surface of your tank, btw. It's covered with an oily slick, and you've got a lid on top. Both obstruct oxygenation.  I'd rather see your surface rippling with a powerhead at the very least.  Example of mine:View attachment 4900
