Do Gobies need lots of sand?

I'm am debating whether or not to get a Randalls Goby. But I have a 1" Sand Bed, will this be ok in my 20 gallon? I will be keeping 2 True Percs with it and that's all

I have three yellow rose gobies and a randall's pistol shrimp and my sand bed is between 1-2". They have all dug out tunnels and seem happy to me. They're definitely well fed. One of them I originally got from Fish2morow and has grown at least half an inch in around three months :shock:

That will work just fine. Randalls goby is one of my favorite gobies. I had one for about 7 or 8 years before it died. It was a great fish.
