DJ Power Strips Question

Hi DFWMAS,

What are the best DJ power strips to use for being able to cut of certain equipment. The cheaper the better but dont want to have to change it out in a few months.
I will prob need 8-14 slots so I dont know if its best to get 2 eights or what. Looking foward to your input.
Thanks

I've used the American DJ for about 3-4 years with no problem.

and this is cool for the breeding systems I need $$ monitoring on ( win more arguments with Uncle Sam's employee's when you dazzle 'em with technology )

I have purchased all of mine through Amazon. 1 out of the 3 worked properly out of the box. They other 2 I had to fix bad soder joints. No big deal if you're handy.

Ive been thinking about picking up one so ill be able to just flip a switch and turn what i want off, but is it worth the 30 bucks?

Got a used one from here that I added to my frag tank prob 3 months ago. I run my power heads through it (kill the pumps with the flip of a switch, and run all blues for best eye candy), as well as my ATO, so when I do a water change, I just flip the switch for the float to keep top off from engaging.

American DJ and Chauvet have both been great for me. Ease of shutting off individual items is worth every cent. I haven't had one flake out yet. Nice durable builds usually.

They last for years. Remember that each one can only handle 15 amps (1500w basically) so if you plan to run too much power, get two 4-switch units instead. The 4-switch is $15 each, and also handles 15 amps.
