DIY mirrored acrylic reflector

that is awesome! i will take 2 please! surely someone can do it around here!

something so simply used to make something so effective. pure genious really, although i wonder how much that reflective acrylic is and if its really cost effective.
 
Frank, did you mean to title this thread "acrylic reflector"? That's pretty neat and using a lower wattage bulb avoids heat warping & damage.

I bought a small piece of mirrored acrylic once, and use it in my fishroom to see equipment normally out of sight. The film on the back is easy to scratch, and I can't tell if the heat damaged it in the thread you linked.
