Dimensions BETWEEN Icecap endcap brackets - NEW QUESTION

I am designing/building my canopy and was searching online (with no luck) the dimensions for the IceCap endcap bracket. I am trying to determine how many lamps I will be able to fit into the canopy and where.

Are you using the mounting brackets? If so, they are 2.5" wide.

Can anyone measure and tell me the long distance between the endcap bases mounting holes - How far apart are they spaced to hold a T5 54W bulb - I know it is probably not exactly 48" and I am making a mounting bracket to install inside the canopy. Dont have the light setup yet to measure myself.
