[Stan,

These are the pics of my stuff that you have frags from. I have 2x250w 10k ushio and 440 actinic on them. I didn't turn off the pump, so the pictures aren't the best. This is the first time I've seen the Nepthea grow a frag to drop and now know why the frags I'd clip off didn't start as well. The sinularia used to have two halves. I took one out to sell and the 2nd has grown to take it's place in less than 6 weeks while dosing phyto.

For grins here's the Galaxea I got from Mitch that's gotten huge on me.

[WOW Tony,

Those look great. You have much more polyp extention then mine. I wonder if the MH is the key. We will have to see. I also have a little bit of a nitrate problem, about 10 -15 ppm so maybe the new set up with the refugium will help that out. I will try to post a couple of pic of mine later. Here is a not so good one for now.]

[I believe it is the MH actually. When I got the system from Duane it was VHO only and stayed that way for a little while. once things got squared away in the tank (gha problem of old) it starting looking like this. If you look at my gallery pics, it looked just like yours in the beginning. Feeding phyto has made them pop even more. But yeah, i like this look over the stringy.]

[I know some have debated this with me in the past, but from my own personal experience, I think phytoplankton is consumed by soft corals. When I stopped, all my softies started looking really bad, and after a month, I started redosing and a week later they looked great again.]
