Did I go overboard !!

I added some fish to my 125g Reef with 35g sump and wanted to know if it's to much. i have about 175 lbs of live rock and about 150 lbs of live sand. Skimmer is SWC xtreme 180 cone. I run gfo, phosphate media and about 500ml of bio pellets. Might incorporate UV filter for decease prevention because of the large fish load. They seem to be doing ok right now. I don't know if that will continue to be the case later. System is about a yr old. here's the list..............

1 Flame pigmy angel- 3"
1 Rusty pigmy angel-2.5"
1 Regal angel-3.5"
1 Yellow Tang-4"
1 Sailfin Tang-3.5"
2 Bangaii Cardinal fish-2.5" each
2 lyretail anthias male 4"/female 3"
1 purple queen anthias female 2.5"
2 yellow spotted Mandarins-2.5"
2 Damsels-2.5"
1 Royal Gramma-3"
1 Maroon clown-3"
1 sixline wrasse-2.5"
1 Copperband Butterfly- 2.5"

As you can tell I love fish in my Reef but I think I went overboard !!!! Might be needing that 300g tank sooner than I thought.

You are definitely maxed out. No more fish until you upgrade.

I would definitly monitor ammonia and nitrite for a few days. Your boi-filter bacteria will have to adjust to the increased fish waste loads.

I'm with Matt - you didn't add all that fish at the same time, did you? If so, you definitely need to watch for an ammonia spike over the next few days as Dennis mentioned. Your nitrifying bacteria will have to catch up to the sudden rise in bio-load.

If you didn't add them all at once, I think you'll be fine as long as you don't add any more. You have a good skimmer and a good amount of live rock, so I think you'll be ok.

I agree with others, you look to be maxed out completely. I think you're fine as it is, and watch your water chemistry and hopefully no fish fights.

They were not added all at once, but I am kind of concerned in regards to this being manageable over the long haul in my system. I don't want to be fighting nutrient build up and gha again, so time will tell. Other than that, I love it. Funny thing my angels are very well behaved as I have a mixed Reef. My Regal (last addition) has been in the tank for about 1 month and has not even touched my zoas.I thought he would have started eating them by now, as others have said they demolish them on sight !!He eats everything I feed him. He's great so far, and one of the most stunning fish I have ever kept.
