Did anybody see this on craigslist?

First - I'm not trying to sell this. This is NOT mine.

Okay... This is HUGE!

I know there's people on here with bigger tanks, but the shape is unique and it's almost a dollar a gallon. And at 500g that's kind of a steal. I have a 180 I could trade (like they asked for) but I don't have the room for the weird shape this has.

What would you keep in here? It'd have to be something extreme. Like small sharks or a cayman.

Oh it's nice to dream... Does anyone local make custom tanks like this?

Wow. Too bad its such an irregular shape or I might be interested. Not sure how in the world you would even go about getting a stand for it built.

It was probably most likely a store tank of some sort from a lfs that went out of business. I've seem a couple others kinda like it on cl over the past couple years.

DAS made a number of these and they were used as salt and freshwater pond tanks. They may still make them.

That is what I was thinking. I used to go to that store almost weekly even though it was an hour away. There was another store down the street I used to go to also. Those were the good ol' days when I could spend $40 for a huge colony instead of getting a 1inch frag.

If you look at the add on Craigslist it has a second picture that looks as if it has some sort of small stand that the tank is attached to kinda as if its meant to be about waist height.

I like it. I think it could clean up real nice. And yeah it appears to have a short stand?

The lady said she used it for breeding Koi. In the 2nd picture that someone else posted, I'd probably put that side up against a wall, and put my filtration behind that little skinny part.

I would LOVE to have this... I messaged her and she said it's only like 300lbs.
