That is the question,
YEA or NAA
Sumps in the past had dark bio Nitra chambers and now is a High ph raising sump with 250w MH in order ?.
Where's the balance? Who does a 50/50 in the sump? I do not know who keeps there sump rock/bio balls in the dark.
We just set up another 180gallon system and will be doing some testing on a 50/50 dark and MH sump combo. Are 100% light tank,(day and throughtout night tank) is showing signs of complete sucess in the growing of Pods and Amps, with a sharp increse of snail growth as well.
Who does a 100% light sump?
Anyway,
if bio love's the dark, why MH/pc it to death? or is that the right thing to do?
We are going to do some start up system charts, on Non light, full 100% light, PC light and MH light sumps, to chart the cycling and stability of these different setups. We will format the systems with the same 180 gal systems with the same two sump combo setups.
Chart & Graphs wil be available in 1 and 2 yrs time respectivly.
