has anyone done this? i'm setting up a 20 gallon nano. all the rocks inside are uncured. When I'm doing water changes from my main tank, I use the older water to change out my nano's. wondering if that would be ok.
If you left a filter sponge in the original tank for a week or two, it would have a ton of bacteria in it to help cycle a new tank. But if you used all the water from the old tank, it would be cycled anyways.
