Crack in the bottom of tank

Hey if anyone knows of someone who can do some glass work please let me know. I have a custom 40 gal AIO that was damaged while moving. The bottom glass of the tank was cracked where the filtration area is. The actual tank still holds water, just not the filtration area. I want to know if it is possible to get just the bottom glass replaced and re-siliconed. Seeing as it's a custom built tank I'm pretty sure that it's possible. So if anyone out there does glass work or knows someone that does glass work please let me know. I would love to get this thing up and running again, any help will be much appreciated. Thanks

Contact David dvups1 see what he can do. If it is rimless you can flip it over put glass on the top and make that new bottom.

A crack can travel over time, just like it does in a windshield. Not sure I would trust a patch job over the one area, but David will definitely tell you what's best.

Yeah that's why I was looking at getting the whole bottom piece of glass replaced. This tank is exactly the same footprint as my kitchen island so I'd love to get it fixed. Looked awesome up there before it started leaking. So hopefully someone on here can help me make that happen.

Hey I got a hold of david but he said that he doesn't want to take it on rite now. So if anyone else out there does glass work or knows of someone who does glass work please let me know. I am willing to pay and help out as much as I can, thanks again for the help.
