Crab caught

I recently discovered a hitch hiker in my tank. His carapace measures 1cm. After reading several posts, I decided to error on the side of caution and capture the crab. I did not want to hurt him since he was doing a lot of excavation and generally useful sand stirring. He did not harm the few coral frags I have, nor did he attack my Tang. I figured he might make a living in my system's sand bottom sump. He is missing a claw, but that happened long before I decided to capture him.

Would anyone hazard a guess as to classify my crab?

I noticed many posts asking 'how to catch a crab', and figured some might find my simple trap useful and easy to construct. I baited the trap with a bit of freeze dried krill, sunk it 2" in the sand, and found the crab inside a few days later. I stacked some rubble around the edge of the trap, but the crab disassembled it two days before he was caught; apparently, he did not need any help finding the trap entrance.
