Does anyone have any experience with CoralVue Fixtures? http://premiumaquatics.com/aquatic-supplies/CV-T5LED244.html
I've got a 30" wide, 18" long, and 24" tall tank that I'm looking to light. I'm planning on just basic corals in this tank, nothing too hard to care for. I've got a brace going across the top middle of my tank, so the 150w MH light I have over it right now has to be offset to 1 side and it's just not doing it for me.
I like the design of the CoralVue fixture. Individual spider parabolic reflectors, and built in blue LED's for moonlight and additional daytime lighting. My concern is it's cooling capabilities, and how long the bulbs would last in the fixture.
They don't make a 30", so my options are the 24", and dealing with overhang and getting a 36" for the additional power. My question would be, would the 24" be enough light for basic corals and possible a clam that is on the easy side of light/care?
Thanks,
~Joe
