I've been looking at ya'lls tanks. I love my softies, but I was wondering what are a couple of beginner SPS's? I have 175WMH would that be enough lighting or do I need more?
 
others will be better to chip in on types of beginner SPS...

but, as for lighting, the 175w depends on your tank dimensions. length and height mainly. post those so it can be answered.
 
Its 28" tall and 30inches wide roughly. I did want to mention everything id only 6 months old, so it isn't quite an established tank!
 
You'll be fine. Look for something that is in the Montipora family, like digita or capricornis. That is a good starter coral. Pocillopora is another one.
