Copperbands -do some eat majano anemones?

I have a CBB that is rather a picky eater - I fear he is not getting enough to eat and is slowly fading away. I have tried tempting him with all sorts of delicacies cyclopeeze, oysters, scallops, brine, mysis, bloodworms etc. He will occasionally pick at a piece here and there but nothing reliably.

I have another tank absolutely overrun with majano anemones. Should I try sticking some of these in the tank - the last thing i want to do is infest my tank with a pest...but if it would provide fare for my CBB I'd gladly do it.

I know they are known for aptaisia eating but what about majanos? And on this note -is there a fish that is specifically go for eating these things? There is a peppermint shrimp in the tank but I don't think he fancies them...

Frank - I've been considering a Auriga (threadfin) for majanos. I know they pick on LPS, anemones and algeas, but not sure of sps, zoas, mushrooms and rics. I suspect the rics may be on their diet list, do you have any experiance or insight on the these?

All corals in the tank were softies -zoas, mushrooms, colt, gsp, --. Never saw either fish touch anything but the aiptasia and majano.

carolyn i put some live rock covered with majonos in a tank with those camel backs i bought on the group buy you hosted and they ate about half of them so far.

camelbacks eat anything so dont put them in your main tank...i have them in my sump for my qt tank right now till i can think of a good place for them

Does the auriga (threadfin) eat the mejanos? I also have RBTA and a sebae and numerous sps and lps, zoos. I would really be interested in a success story of something reliably eating mejanos that was reef safe.

And how long have you had the CBB? Did he go through all of the aptasia in his tank, or was there any to start with, or what is that back story? Just trying to get the puzzle put together to figure out how to help. I don't know about mojanos...just aptasia. But small nems are small nems, right? One would assume...
