condy anemone not open and tens just looking empty

ive had him about a week now and hes was looking great really happy and moved a little in the opend up alot now today i come home and hes sad looking not open almost dead looking tens are not even full looking just empty any ideas some of him is moving and open but not like a couple of days ago any ideas please help id hate to loose him

Anemones look that way sometimes, and then they go back to looking "normal". I now have 13 rose bubbles that split from 4, and they all are bubbled up nicely most of the time. Every now and then one will look like yours does now. But it doesn't last more than a couple of days.

If you have the anemone in a mature tank, with stable, and good water conditions, proper lighting, proper current, proper feeding, it should be fine. I waited about 20 months before putting anemones in my system. It takes time for the tank, and it's caretaker to get stabilized, which is what I have heard is needed for anemones.

thanks for that info i just took a look at him again and maybe two or three tens are full but small the rest are empty just laying there i just added a new marineland hob filter and noticed this happen right after but everything else seems fine only have a few green and red mushrooms and some star polyps in the tank filled the filter with a cup of the carbon it came with and added some flufal biomedia there version of bioballs hoping to help think this might have effected anything
