Colt Coral Help.

I Picked up a Colt Coral Last week and It was about 6" tall with a trunk about 2" wide and when I put it my Tank it shrunk to about 3" and has not come back to it normal self. What could be the problem?
Water perameter.
pH = 82
ammonia = 0
nitrite = 0
nitrate = 0
Magnesium = 1200
Temp = 76.8

I have good circulation in the tank as well and my shrooms and candy canes are doing good.

What are your calcium and alkalinity levels?

Ca is a little high @475 and I will pick up a test kit today for Alk & iodine ans test that when I get home. I did have it tested this past weekend and all was good just high Ca.

make sure none of the power heads are pointed right at it of there is not to much flow. this will cause them to shrink down

Matthew_sample I moved it to a place in the tank with less curent and I'll see what happens.

What are your phosphates at?

and alkalinity?

Sorry it took so long to get back to this post as I was one of the members that was cought up in the database issue they had.
Here is the test results from today.
Calcium = 450
Alk = 4.5
PH 8.1
Phos = 0
Nitrite = 0
Amonia = 0
Nitrate = 0
