Color for back of tank

I am upgrading to a 150 gallon reef ready tank and I was wondering what color everyone recommends to paint the back (blue or black) and what type of paint to use (spray can, etc.)

I'm sure this has been done by someone before, but I plan on using 3M adhesive vinyl to apply to the back of my 90RR that I'm building. Sould save me some time and give good coverage. The stuff comes in many colors also.

Black all the way. Keep the rock structure off the glass, scrape coralline diligently and your corals will really pop.

I personally have always used black because I don't clean my back glass. If you use a blue background and keep the back glass clean it tends to give the tank more depth.

I vote none of the above. I think you should be able to view a tank from all sides. Not only does it look nicer, but you never know when you may need to look for a sick, injured or dead fish. However, if your tank is up flush against a wall, and you must have some something on the back, I'd have to go with a black removable background.

I just used a can of the cheapest black spraypaint I could find. The cheap stuff is touchy though, it scratches off the glass easily.

If you want something tough, you can find Epoxy Paint at home depot.
