Co2 regulator - Milwaukee

[I'am in need of a Co2 regulator setup and was wondering if anyone knew if Milwaukee Co2 setups and ph controllers were worthy of the long haul or should I invest more money and if so can anyone give recommendations of what is best and where to buy at the best price.Your advice is highly appreciated.]

[I'm using the Milwaukee solenoid & regulator; and pH Controller and am very happy with both.]

[I'm using the Milwaukee solenoid & regulator also and really like it. I used a couple others before I settled on this one. I don't use a pH controller. As to whether it is worth it or not is your call. It is just insurance. Some people think it is worth it. Others don't.]

[With the controller, you don't have to dial in the reactor at all. It just takes care of everything, making it a breeze to run Calcium into your system. James Avery recommended it to me, and it was worth every nickel.]

[The main function of a pH controller is so you don't have an incident in your tank. If the pH of the effluent gets to low it will cut off the CO2.

Dial in as Marc mentioned is easier because you can err on the side of to many BPM of CO2 and the controller will simply cut it off if your effluent pH drops to low. You will still have to dial in how much effluent comes out. I need about 100 drops a minute (and about 40 BPM CO2). I know some SPS tanks that need 5 or 6 times that and over 300bpm so it really depends on your tank. A controller will make things easier and avoid any disasters due to CO2.]
