Clownfish concern

I picked up to osellaris clowns from my LFS yesterday and they did ok for the first 6ish hours. when I got home last night one was staying in a back corner of my tank less than 2 inches off the sand bed. The other appears to be acting normal. I'll the levels in my tank appear to normal aside from my ph being at 8.0 (normally it stays at 8.2. Should I be concerned?

I shot this picture tonight, one of the clowns died tonight, and now the other one is exhibiting similar behavior (staying near the sand not being super active) and now there is a white string coming from the bottom of my clown. It appears to be getting longer as well.... What is wrong with my fish??????

Could be brook(links below). How did you acclimate the clowns before they went into the tank?

I agree, could be Brooks. My clowns got Brooks a year or two ago and I treated them in a hydrogen peroxide dip. I did dips for several days in a row in a small container for about 30 min with air infusion. You can also use other meds or hypo I believe.

Mine looked just like that and he had brook. I even had a Platinum clown that ended up coming down with brook. I couldn't tell until it was too late because he was solid white.
