Clown with enlarged belly?

We have a mated pair of false percula clowns. Tonight, the female didn't eat hardly at all and appears to have an enlarged belly. Though she usually hangs out in her mushroom coral, she is actually not coming out as often as she usually does. The only other symptom is that it appears she may be breathing more rapidly.

Up until today, she has been eating really well and acting normally.

I'm checking all my water parameters right now but so far everything looks good.

Any thoughts?

Sounds like a possible internal parasite, bacterial/viral infection or problem such as constipation. Curious if the clown's were wild caught? Heres more on swollen belly causes etc. http://www.freshmarine.com/treating-swollen-abdomen.html

Cheers,.

I don't see your link, Ron.

Can we see a picture of the fish in question?

I haven't ever seen a drop in appetite on any of my clowns that have been laying eggs, so I wouldn't just assume she's gravid yet.
