Clown Hosting

ok so I ened up in Petco last night and found a REALLY AUSOME Anemone and it is very large.. Green LTA

Any way I have another Purple LTA

also other items the clowns can host..

Now the question is how long does it take and is there somethig i need to do or do I just need to let them be and they will find them?


I have "False Percs"
4 of them ...

i will be updating my build thread with Pics in a little while..
 
Some never host. Some swear that captive bred are less likely to host, but it seems to be a mixed bag. Suggestions for encouraging them to host include getting one of those fake clown algae clips and putting it by the anemone, and taping a picture of a clown in an anemone to the tank outside the anemone. I don't know that any of these work, but they seem to be the most frequent responses to this question.

I have one tank bred and one unknown clown that are hosting fools- for everything _except_ one of the _6_ anemones in the tank. They've hosted in mushrooms, gsp, xenia, zoas, a hawaiian feather duster, and even a powerhead that was unplugged.
