So I have had a clam in my tank almost a week I added a clown few days ago I guess he thinks the clam is his new home only problem is the clam keeps closing up any ideas on what to do? Anyone ever see this? hmmm should I get an Rose bubble?
Many times, once they've chosen a host, there's not much you can do to change their minds. The clam will probably adjust. I've seen clowns host clams a few times and from what I've seen, the clam will get used to it and stay open. HTH
