hey all, quick question. ?I have a Biocube 29 setup for about 2 months now. ?Water parameters are all good. ?Currently have two (ocellaris) clowns and two Diamond Damsels. ?Everyone is going great. ?Was thinking about adding a anenome for the clowns. ?Anyone know of a good one that would work for the clowns? ?Is it too early to add an anenome? ?TIA

Probably too early, but it really just depends on how good your husbandry is. Anemones are very sensitive to water changes, and the better you maintain your water, the happier they will be.?What lighting do you have? Anemones need strong lighting.Regarding what type, any bubble-tip anemone (BTA) will do fine, though it's hit-or-miss whether the clowns will take to it. In my experience, if the clowns are tank-raised they may not take to the anemone at all.?You would have a better chance with wild-caught clowns.

I do?by-weekly water changes 20%, but it all?depends on how much water you are changing out each week. ?Nems can be tricky as they like too move around until they find the spot that they like, lighting, flow, food. But once they find it, they normally stay put unless something in the tank changes, and they will try to find a new spot. I don't think it is to soon because the fish are healthy so you should be OK. Also, consider upgrading your light to a LED so you can control the light.
