cloudy water

I can't not find anything missing looks like a bunch of little pinkish balls all over in tank. I can't do a water change right now only tomorrow morning will this be ok. Does cloudy water always mean emergency water change?

To me it means start running tests and changing water now...but that's me. I hope everything's fine.

**edit** It also coud just be a PH that fell and is kicking up sand

Cheers!

I would be extremely suspect of something going wrong. Especially since your clam died yesterday. It could have kicked off an ammonia spike that could now be causing other issues.

I would start with polyfilter and carbon if you have it on hand. You need to test your water as well. Without having any of your parameters there is no way to even begin determining the issue... If the cloudiness can not be attributed to anything else (such as a sand storm) then whatever is causing the cloudiness (i.e. macro going sexual or possibly a bloom of some sort) may start causing other problems and water changes would be in order to help get it out quickly....

Let us know what you find with your tests so we can help further.

Sounds like something has given off a toxin, possibly from dying, being cut, or alleopothy etc. Toxin release was most likely cause of clams death. Run carbon and change the water.

I read that clams are really sensitive to toxins given off by zoa's, palythoa's, and leathers. Cutting these corals (fragging) in the tank can release these as well as die off of same.

I lost a clam last year when a finger leather started to die and give off toxins. That is one of the reasons I run carbon 24/7. Hope that helps.
