Closed loop - Too much pump ..?

[I am about to put a closed loop in using a SCWD much like what Marc has allready done. I am planning on using a mag18 in place of the mag7, but go to thinking this might be too much pump....... any one used a mag18 with this, and if so what did you think.?]
 
[I got a mag 12 on mine and no turns in the tubing till it hits the sqwid. 4 feet above the mag 12. So if you have lots of head pressure and or several turns, I think the mag 18 would be fine.]
 
[Be careful though the SQWD craps out at about 1500 and on a closed loop your only pressure will be friction and bends so I would be worried about the SQWD working!]
 
[3iQ recommends no more than 1400gph into the SCWD. A Mag 18 has a 3/4" outlet, so you'll want to use 1.5" plumbing for maximum flow. Reducing that down to the 3/4" input of a SCWD will be aggravating but doable.

If you plumb it with 3/4" tubing all the way, you'll definitely NOT have the flow the Mag 18 promises, and the SCWD will be fine. And the output will be weaker due to the restrictive plumbing.]
