Close loop without drilling - Never mind... found the info

I'm sure this has been addressed before, but my quick search came up empty.

How do you guys do close loop without drilling the tank? IOW, how to get water over the tank's wall, down to the pump, back to the tank without micro bubbles?

if i was going to try a closed loop without drilling holes in the tank i would say just a pump with hang on back plumbing. basicall the same principle of teh way a canister filter picks up water and returns it to the tank yet without the filter media, and using a good pump rather than an empty canister filter (although i am sure one of these would substitute in a pinch)
