Well my female clarkii pushed the male to commit suicide
All last week he was doing the shimmy and she just chased him away
Then she started chasing him doing the shimmy, and then they were doing the shimmy together
Last night my tank overflowed, he had jumped into the overflow and got stuck in the U tube
So how do I find a new male for her?
Buy a smaller one and hope it?s a he or if it is a she will it turn into a he

Pretty much... Except the path from going Juvenile->Male->Female is a one way trip...

(Once one has gone from Juvenile to Male, it can't go back to Juvenile, and once one has become female, it can't revert to Male or Juvenile)

So, you wanna find a small one, and preferebly one that hasn't been by itself for a long period of time (Months).

Oh, almost forgot... And are you SURE you want your female Clarkii mated up? They get MEAN once they're paired up...

I've got a small scar on my forearm I could show you from where my female Clarkii ripped a chunk of flesh outta me...

So how small
Wild or ORA aquaculture clarkii
My thinking would be that the aquaculture clarkii would spend less time by them selves

I'd go with an ORA...

(Besides the fact that I'm a big proponent of buying aquacultured for anything we can, just on principal...)

She does have a tendency to bull-dose corals, rocks when I add something new or rearrange thing
No love bites so far

Go with a small as you can ORA. I had a mated pair for a couple years and ya they get mean (and it's only a matter of time for the bite to happen, I have a knuckle scar)) after they start mating for sure but I still love them.
