I stumbled across this site by accident. It looks to be very professional. Has anyone ordered from them? They just got in some awesome looking clams. Also does anyone know the best place to buy clams either online or locally? THANKS !!!
 
I've never ordered from him but I've always read great things about his business. One of our sponsors, Pacific East Aquaculture also has a great selection of maxima's at this time. They must be pushing them since the corcea supply has dried up.

Has anyone noticed that what used to be called "1st grade" gold maximas are now being called "ultra" and charging "ultra" prices. I can remember if the clam weren't blue or blue/green then they were a lot cheaper.
 
yea Barry is a great guy and real personable. I hosted a couple of group buys for Clams Direct and participated in a few other and it's been flawless everytime.
 
Hi, I have purchased from clams direct and have hosted a couple of group buys. Barry has a new suppier for Maximas, and the last three batches have been outstanding. There customer service is really good. I am planning on doing another group buy as soon as my clam tank is ready. He posts sneak previews on his forum once in a while.

after reading this post last night, I ended up buying one of Barry's Maximas. I hope it looks this good when I get it

Congrats on the new clam:) You won't be disapointed. Barry has really nice healthy clams and really packs them well for shipping.

Ok, Barry is good : )

They replied to my order and said I could combine shipping on up to 3 clams without any additional fee.

Sooooo.... I added these two. I'll probably sell two of these to recoup some of my shipping. Stay tuned on the Sell Board when i go to sell the other two.
 
Do you happen to have the pic from his site so we can compare how they look vs. the site's photos?
