Chromis missing his mouth?

[I just noticed that one of my three green chromis seems to be missing the top part of his mouth. Rather, there seems to be kind of a "hole" in the top part. I just fed them, and he seems to be unable to eat. Both "lips" are there, but the parts above his top lip are missing, and he doesn't seem to be able to open his mouth. They haven't been fighting or anything that I've noticed. Anyone have any ideas? Any way to help him? I don't want him to starve to death. He is active and interested in food...just not able to open his mouth. It's like the muscles (or whatever controls the top part) has been eaten away!]

[Ok...even freakier...I just looked at him again...and whatever was wrong is fixed. It's like he popped his jaw out of joint, but now it's back in. Freaky little fish... :suspect:]

[Interesting.. This would be a good sign to check all tank parameters.

Very nice little fish. I've thought about getting a few myself.

Hope everything pans out for the little fella.]
