Check out the power of t5 lighting!

[Click here to see SPS corals under 144 watts of T5 lighting (with SLS reflectors of course).

Not sure if growth of SPS corals under T5's is comparable to growth under metal halides, but it sure looks good enough to me ]

[that is one heck of a 10 gallon, I bet evaporation is killer. I would love to have a small tank like that with a 75 gallon sump :p]

[I want to try T-5's real bad. I wonder if they make them in 60" length complete w/reflector and cord like marc has on his 55 gal.Ill start looking for them one day.]

[Hey guys, this 30 gallon tank isn't mine! I found the site while surfing the net :D However, I do use T5's with SLS reflectors. I am currently running only 2 bulbs which are 39 watts each, one ATI Sun 6500k, and one ATI actinic. My hydnophora sp. is doing very well under only 78 watts of light.

I'm looking into buying a canopy so that I can put 2 more bulbs. That'll make it a total of 156 watts which should be sufficient for SPS corals, based on the success of Danano's 30 gallon.]

[i have 6 48 inch retro t5's for my 100 gallon. xenia and pollops are groing like wild fire. but i am not sure my l.t. anemone likes them.]
